Aneesa Khan
Aneesa Khan (she/her) is a Pakistani-American filmmaker, producer, and writer. Most recently, she was the associate producer and film consultant on Mirrors, starring Deepti Gupta and Academy Award nominee Paul Raci. Her short film The Girl With Anklets earned Best Cinematography at the Pakistani Film Festival Australia 2021 and was selected at six global film festivals. Aneesa co-hosts the Desi Talkies podcast, where she analyzes South Asian media, and has previously held roles at Blumhouse Productions and Women in Entertainment. Her latest short film, Criteria Kya Hai?, a coming-of-age comedy, is already making waves in the 2024 film festival circuit—with ten official festival selections and counting. Aneesa Khan is currently in pre-production for Tandava, an Indian-Western horror feature written and directed by Vinay Umapathy, where she serves as Lead Producer. This marks her debut in feature filmmaking, with production slated for October 2025.
