After growing up in South Africa, Kaneez then moved to India and there she began her stand-up and improv career. Kaneez has hosted and been featured in multiple shows on Amazon Prime and Netflix such as Comicstaan (2018-2019), Ladies Up (2020), and Comedy Premium League (2021). After garnering substantial success in her career, Surka has now moved to New York City.
